Tonight is the Grade School Musical. It's really cool and the students are doing really well. Make sure that you set aside time to come to this special event. It starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Nauvoo Grade School - TONIGHT.
In April, we have
- the Grade School Talent Show at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th;
- JH Band and Chorus day trip to the WIU Steel Band concert on the 24th;
- JH Drama Class Play, "The Emperor's New Clothes" at 7:00 p.m.on the 26th; (You don't want to miss this play. The students are working really hard. This is going to be a really good show.)
- JH Chorus and Band concert at the Warsaw HS Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. on May 2; we will award the outstanding 8th grade band member at this concert, with recognition of other outstanding students.
- JH Chorus and Band grade school tour on May 10;
- Grade School Band, Chorus, and Recorder Group concert on May 15 @ 8:15 am.
- The JH Chorus will perform at the 8th grade Promotion during the last week of school
Mr. D - (a personal note); I don't know if I will get a chance to write in the blog again before everything comes to an end for this school year. So, I'd like to say that I have really enjoyed working with your students over the last ten years. We have seen a lot of success in our band, chorus, and drama programs here in Nauvoo. I'd like to thank everyone who allowed us to work with your students and for all of the support that you gave us over these last several years. I will miss everyone, but I am looking forward to having some time for myself and for Mrs. Dowell. I know that you will continue to support Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Kanauss as they continue the fine music and drama program here in Nauvoo. Thanks again.
